FAQ

1. If I send both my diploma and my transcripts for verification through VerifDiploma, will all the documents be sent to WES at the same time? No. In most cases the diploma and the transcripts are verified separately. As soon as each verification is completed, the corresponding document is sent to WES. You can track the status of every document in your MyVerifDiploma account.
2. When will I receive the WES reference number required for the VerifDiploma procedure? You will receive your WES reference number when you create your application on the WES website. You must have that number before submitting your file to VerifDiploma.
3. How long does the verification process take? Timing depends on how quickly the institution responds. Diplomas are usually verified in 2–5 days, while transcripts take about 5–10 days.
4. What should I do if I can’t find my institution in the drop-down list? Most institutions should appear in the list. If, after a thorough search, you still can’t find yours, please contact wes@verifdiploma.com.
5. What should I do if my program name doesn’t appear in the drop-down list? Scroll to the bottom of the list and select “New”.
6. Which document formats are accepted? Please upload every document as a PDF file.
7. Once my file has been submitted to VerifDiploma, do I need to contact my institution? No. VerifDiploma handles all communication with your institution. No action is required on your part.
8. How will I know when the verification process is complete? You will receive a confirmation email once your case is closed and the documents have been sent to WES.
9. I have a BTS or BAC. Can I submit my high school transcripts for verification? No, WES only accepts the National Exam Results edited by the Academie. You can only submit your transcript from your high school if you did not complete the diploma.
10. Can I submit my "Dossier Etudiant" as my transcripts? No, WES only accepts the official transcripts edited by your university.
11. I have a doctorate, so I don't have transcripts. What should I put in the field "transcripts" to submit the verification? WES requests an additional document from your school attesting to the fact that you have defended your thesis or that you did indeed complete the Doctorate. This can be submitted in the "transcripts" field.
